How we playing lads? At work

Really threatening at set pieces, mostly control the ball but can't keep it up front long enough to result every attack in a threatening manner. Balls returned from forward threatens our goal at times but defence has somehow thwarted them back, not much easily though. Southampton lacks any decent build-up play and could not threaten much by passing play.

I think he's done well old jenky. Held it up well and made some dangerous runs. Shame he ain't as fast as our other forwards as it would be a terrifying front line to play against.

tbh most of the forwards are slow compared to Richarlison and Walcott, cenk is not slow but they are something else

More shots on goal in that first half than probably about 10 full allardyce matches i would think. When you think about the talent that is still to be introduced, Bernard, Mina, Zouma, Gomes, you just cannot stop yourself from being a tad bit excited and optimistic. Definitely making great progress anyway.
