Yea,i did see that and still dont know why lol, just because we are playing bad, does not make saints the favs even if they need a win more than us,as for one we have a decent home record, plus they have only just got there 2nd win last week in 22 games since they played us,plus saints only have 2 away wins, against west brom and against palace when palace lost there 1st 7,plus we have not lost to them in 21 years at home, still sticking to 2-1 Everton
2-1 odds for us to beat someone in the relegation places at home is ridiculous. I realise we have nothing much to play for but that’s been the case for a few weeks.
Leicester vs West Ham is similar to our game but Leicester are favourites for that one. Strange.......

Wonder how long it will take our super speedy squad to complete the appreciation lap ......

Is this the side that le tiss was lording about when koeman left to join us. He couldnt understand why koeman would want to join a team consistantly in the top 8 with a great history who were trying to push on and leave a team that finished 7th one year with no history.

Ps. Not that we are currently much better!!

I hope we beat them, and then can have a look at a few of there players for next season:
- James Ward Prowse
- Wesley Hoedt
- Nathan Redmond

Granted, all three are underperforming on a relegation side; however, they’re talented, relatively young (23-24) and if on reasonable fees I’d be delighted to see them in the side replacing some of the older dross we have as current squad players. Think these lads as rotation players rather than the likes of:
- James McCarthy
- Ashley Williams
- Kevin Mirallas

*Edit* Then again I understand poaching Saints players is more in tune with the other side of Stanley Park.

Considering some of the shouts their fans came out with when we took Koeman, it'd be good to contribute to relegating them back to where they belong.

Hopefully we smash them and wreck their goal difference even more.

Up the Toffees.

2/1 eh? I might have a bit of that. I don't know why there's such a lack of confidence here. Everton has a very good
home record and Southampton have been awful.

bookies expecting a toxic atmosphere perhaps !! hence the odds,

...looks like the 2-1 is only now available with BetVictor, most of the others are a touch under. Everton odds are ‘blue’ on Oddschecker suggesting punters are backing us but it’s a massive game for Southampton and I guess that is being reflected in their odds. A must win for them and the bookies think that might make the difference.

Wesley hoedt and Nathan Redmond are even worse than what we have now

It would be nice to send these and West Ham down.

Shame Newcastle are safe, that would have been a nice trio of teams to relegate

..to be honest, Matey, it’s such a dreadful situation for supporters to be in that I would only wish relegation on one club and it’s none of those you mention. I vividly remember us being in the mire and a Middlesbrough fan saying smugly on telly that he’d be chuffed if we dropped. I thought from that moment that I would never say that about another football club.

If stoke lose tomorrow v palace they are down,no mater if saints and swans lost later in the day,so that would be another team done, due to swansea playing the saints on tuesday

Imagine being one of their players desperate for a win and in need of some good support tomorrow, finding out the club/Virgin Media has reduced the tickets to £10, come out at kick off and you see hundreds of empty seats in the away end.

Another spell in League 1 will do them good if they do go down this season, might make them a bit less deluded if they make it back up. Their peer group contains the likes of Coventry and Portsmouth, although that is actually doing a disservice to Portsmouth who have 2 league titles to their name.
