Our new tactic just needs to focus on set pieces only, with remaining hard to break through at the back. We're awful on the wings and have no creativity in the side, so just desperately try for corners and free kicks and hope, like today, Gray can put in 3 of 10 decent crosses and somebody can get on the end of it.

An age old problem with Everton........very narrow and when the opposition have the ball on the right we all follow and opposition players just pull out to the flank. We concede the flanks too easily and the switching of flanks pulls any shape we should have apart.

It’s rare that you see our fullbacks push their players out wide. They always seem to get the in and around the penalty area with ease.

Yes we need that we have to keep solid at the back. 4 doesn’t work well for Frank.
