I can buy the "give lads a game", a bit, but keepers know the pecking order more than outfield players.

If he wanted to change the goalie would rather be played the youth gk he has put on the bench... stek is awful mate.

I agree with resting Pickford. If he got injured playing tonight it could cost us in the league. I agree Stekelenburg is distinctly average but that team should have enough to get thru.

He could get injured any game, or any morning in training. It's an irrelevant point you've made.

Play your best best goalkeeper unless he's unavailable or its an utter dead rubber for some strange reason.

Personally I’d have kept the side that finished on Saturday but if we’re lookkng for positives then it’s good we have decent enough players to rotate and that Dowell is getting a chance.
