Crazy seeing people include Davies in any starting XI. The lad isnt good enough this is no 'rough patch'. He is really poor.
Well we currently dont have anybody else for 1.

I think you missed last game.Crazy seeing people write off a 20 year old kid who hasn’t even reached his peak but is playing no worse than any other midfielder in our team has been.
Hear, hear. Seriously overrated. Too lightweight.Crazy seeing people include Davies in any starting XI. The lad isnt good enough this is no 'rough patch'. He is really poor.

He was definitely the worst midfielder on the field by a wide margin. And that wasnt an exception.
Siggurdson was the best player we had v Bournemouth. Davies has not contributed anything of note in a long time. Price is irrelevant. Its whether you are good enough or not. What did Siggurdson do against Bournemouth? Even then though shock horror at 20 year old academy player not being at same level as 2 international players one of which cost 45 mill.
On the very same FA page where these rules are printed, Richarlison is not listed. Maybe the ref hasn't submitted the result yet.View attachment 49295
From FA website, he's suspended

I understand your point but I wouldn't play too many youngsters at the same time, certainly Kenny has to come in and Lookman, nothing against DCL but I would play Niasse, he needs and deserves a game , even with a strong bench ( good point) I would still play a relatively strong team, we need to progress in the cups this season. While I do want to take this cup seriously, I think at home vs. Rotheram we should be looking to get as many of the fringe players some match fitness as possible. As we've seen all it takes is one injury or red card to test your depth.
For me, Dowell in for Siggy (could used a rest as much running as he does). Bernard in for sure. Zouma and Holgate. Jonjoe in for Seamus. Digne in for Baines. DCL or Oumar in for Tosun. Anybody's guess whether we play Lookman or not, but assuming his head is right, Lookman in for Walcott.
Still have a very strong bench in case it's not that easy, but that group should be able to beat Rotheram at home.
Now if we face much tougher competition on the road in the next round, I'd play the strongest team possible. But for now, we need to get some of these lads some game time.
Does this match count for one of Richarlison's suspended matches?
They are a championship side you know mate, with our past history,I would say that makes them dangerous enough opponents,I seriously would only be looking at Zouma for Keane,Digne for Baines and one other change. While I do want to take this cup seriously, I think at home vs. Rotheram we should be looking to get as many of the fringe players some match fitness as possible.
