I can only assess the atmosphere from watching games on television and it seems to me that vocal support has largely died away since we went all seater. Leicester create a bit with 'clappers', which can be annoying, and only Crystal Palace and
Stoke spring to mind as having consistent loud support. There's plenty of clapping and even cheering at Everton when things
are going well, but not as much singing. It's hard to burst into song when you're sitting amongst people you hardly know or
don't know at all.

I like some atmos mate yeah

It's why I switched my ST from the Main Stand to the Lower Gwladys last season

I sacrificed the view for the atmosphere

Well that went well mate.
Atmosphere has never been good since all seating. It's a shame because the Everton away support is amongst the most vocal in the league. Not sure why it's so bad at home. I think perhaps too many bought into the 'shirt wearing, flag waving and singing is for kopites' myth that was perpetuated on many forums (including GOT)
Man of the match for me was Digne, with honourable mentions for Kenny and Calvert Lewin. Amazed that 13 people have voted for Ramirez who I thought was poor.

I listened to the game on my wireless and the reception was a bit crackly so gauging the arousal level of the GP crowd was difficult to accurately determine since I didn’t know whether background noise was cheering/atmosphere or just static or sunspot interference.
Perhaps an idea to promote atmosphere at GP would be to play a load of static through the tannoy system ...people would think it’s cheering and join in.

I'm seeing how the other half live for this one. (Don't worry I've not gone all Tory. My sister won some competition)
Has anybody been on this gig ?

Yeah because there's no way he was.

He scored two yes, but was not even close to be the best player on the pitch.

Digne, Davis, Kenny even Zouma all better shouts.

Don't do what sky sports reporters do and just give anyone who has scored MOM without watching the full game.
I only asked if you were defying anyone to make him MoM because of what you posted:

"Defiantly not MOM like some are saying."

The background noise might also just have been Snod's munching on a packet of crisps during key moments in the play.

They were singing we've got Guardiola for some bizarre reason. I don't mind fans getting behind their team as much as possible like some away fans like Wolfsburg, Young Boys and Yeovil who have come to Goodison. But I've never liked when fans just sing pointless songs about the home fans not singing for 90 minutes Of course Everton fans are not going to be bouncing up and down and singing for 90 minutes in a midweek game against Rotheram. I don't know why smaller clubs expect premier league supporters to be really up for these types of games. You can take the p**s out of the RS when they're quiet against us, because they go round telling everybody how wonderful their fans are. Contrived atmospheres like you get at Anfield, Man City and Palace are something I'd never like to see at Everton.

We was singing we got warniola not Guardiola for our manager looking like him but really enjoy my day made us proud to say that wasn't our full team ethier alot wasted chance but ground 72 ticked off

So, to improve the GP atmosphere, we should just get Snods to munch crisps over the tannoy system...bit messier than my static idea...but I like the cut of your jib Charles,
A bit like the recording artists who add crackles to their digital tracks. Snod's could find a niche here - recording his munching of crisps and then franchise the 'atmosphere' across professional clubs worldwide...

I was in work so had to listen to the radio coverage for this one last night.

Just wondering was it 4-4-2 with Sigurdsson or Dowell our wide or 4-3-3 with DCL and Sandro as the wide forwards?
