That’s the team I’d LIKE to see, giving some squad players a game and a chance to play their way in. I have a sneaky feeling he’ll play Stek instead of JP, though and probably play Gana in CM and probably stick with Siggy as No. 10.

I also think we should apply for special dispensation to wrap Zouma and Holgate in bubble wrap; we’re an injury away from Pennington at CB...

The only other option is using Gana, who's played every minute of every game so far, or Schneiderlin who wouldn't be fully fit. I get that Gana would be the obvious choice, but it's a bit disappointing having to lean on that for a game against Rotherham at home. The guy could do with a night off.

I somehow think gana can cope with 2 games in 1 week, the top players have no bother doing it the champions league against much harder opposition

I think its less about resting and more about giving second choice GKs some minutes to keep them happy.
