In goal; no need for rest/rotation/cup keeper
Coleman in for experience at the back with Holgate/Zouma. Play Zouma left so he and Digne are ok communications wise.
Gueye/Davies because I don't know what our other options are! Beni did enough last season to earn a go in the cup.
Theo to come off after 60 mins for Bernard
Cenk has been great but I'm sure he'd feel better with a goal

I agree with the back line, but I'd like to see Iceland in there for this game. I'd give Tosun and Theo a rest (particularly with Richy out) and give Prince Oumar a shout in this one. I'm fine bringing Tosun in off the bench. With Theo's injury history, we can't risk him here - Lookman and Bernard on the wings should give us all the pace we need.

Yeah it's a balancing act isn't mate? I want us to take it serious but also think it's an ideal opportunity for some of the fringe players. I think Lookman and Bernard have the quality, but I'd sooner start one and bring the other on. I'd prefer to have Gylfi in there like you say, in place of Davies or Gana but the amount of ground he covers I'd give him the rest and hope we should have enough to see these off without him.

Nice to have these options though.

I don't think we need to worry about these players being burnt out. One game per week will be the norm this season. If we take an early exit out of one of the cups our players are going to end up being starved of games.

It might touch 30,000 because quit a few Blue fans are expecting to Zouma and Bernard to play and will want to have a look at them, I hope we play a pretty strong team tonight and progress in this cup.
