Unless the Rotherham RW is filthy fast I'd be keeping Baines with new pairing of Zouma and Holgate likely; or if not, then Holgate, Jags and Digne.
Coleman needs to go off and find some pace on the training ground. He's getting found out and its showing on the ball. So JJK in as well.
Bernard has to start.
Dowell to come on for Sig after 65.
Stekelenburg in goal. Bring on Pickford if it goes to pens.

Holgate and Zouma are our best pair so they HAVE to start tonight to build up a relationship.

Also reckon Stek is better at pens to be fair.

More likely to see Virginia than Stekelenburg tonight (if he changes his GK) - Pickford still a bit rusty after having no preseason.

Pickford
Kenny Holgate Zouma Digne
Gueye
Bernard Dowell Davies Lookman
Tosun

Is this on tv or can I buy it on the everton website?

Not on english tv or everton.

Outside chance an outside broadcaster abroad has picked it up, but unlikely. Last night Swansea/Palace was on foreign tele but as you'd expect that to be a bit more exciting than tonight.

this is sad to see. i know they're champiosnhip, but they're still a very small club and for a lot of their players playing at somehwere like goodison could be the pinnacle of their career. The FA need to do something about every team playing weak teams in the cups. It really doesn't make sense. Palace sent out a terrible weak team to swansea last night and i have no idea why. They'll be fine as far as relegation is concerned and if they do happen to be in a scrap near the end of the season, playing a weak team three weeks into the season wouldn't have any hinderance.

MATCH PREVIEW

The first of 3 Home games on the bounce sees us welcome Championship side Rotherham United in The Carabao Cup, a team that managed to gain promotion via the playoffs last season. They currently find themselves just above the relegation places, after a start of 1 win and 3 defeats so far, they play today at 12.30(Sunday) in case anybody wants to check them out.

It will be the first time VAR has been used at Goodison Park, which should make things very interesting. Also with the changes to the competition this season the match if level at 90minutes will go straight to a penalty shoot out.

They should not be taken lightly of course, but its difficult to predict what sort of side we will play, few little niggles in the squad and of course we have 2 players serving a suspension, I would probably go with something like this, it would depend on the fitness of certain players and I know people like us to field a first team, I just feel that some players need a run out and some players would benefit from a rest.

Goats 11 to start :
Pickford
JJK - Zouma - Holgate - Digne
Gana - Davies
Dowell
Lookman - DCL - Bernard

MATCH REPORT by @AndyC

I would play the strongest team possible and make loads of subs when it is safe. We don't have Europe to worry about and no game is to be taken lightly.

With a full squad to choose from selection would be more flexible. Surely a good opportunity to build some match fitness without too big a gamble. Bernard needs games and Dowell on as sub when he tires. Give Siggy a rest he has been everywhere for the last few games. Lookman should get the Richarlison vacancy. CB's as available. Gana and Davies should be able to play 3 games a week and I dont think we have any other fit midfielders. Cenk and Walcott should get a rest either by coming off 2nd half or coming on if were struggling.

Niasse being here, so probably he will start together with Tosun tonight, or instead of him
