Not going to big us up for this one just hoping our good football does the talking. Quality crosses from both flanks....a man can dream heh.

If I were in charge tomorrow......

Howard

Hibbert Jags Distin Baines

Heitinga

Coleman Arteta Fellaini Pienaar

Yakubu

It's this level of irritable pettiness that is the lifeblood of the forum dynamic.

carry on.

Everton (from): Howard, Mucha, Hibbert, Neville, Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Heitinga, Baines, Osman, Arteta, Fellaini, Gueye, Bilyaletdinov, Pienaar, Cahill, Beckford, Yakubu.

Looks like Cahill would not be starting in this fixture, and with Newcastle like to attack and rather lose in defence and helf a line high up, I suggest we play a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with two up top or one behind the other.

The would be a line-up I would want to see tomorrow;

----------------------- Howard -----------------------

--- Neville --- Heitinga --- Jagielka --- Baines ---

--- Coleman --- Arteta --- Fellaini --- Pienaar ----

---------------- Beckford --- Yakubu ----------------

Since Anichebe is not ready to come back we could used Coleman as a RM, and if Yakubu is not fit to play 90 mins we could always take him off around 60~70 mins mark and reaplce him with Billy or Gueye!

Spaniards team:

Howard.
Hibbert-Jagielka-Distin/Heitinga-Baines
Coleman-Fellaini-Arteta-Pienaar
Bilyaletdinov
Yakubu

I've not decided on Distin or Heitinga. Newcastle will just pump long balls to Carrol.

Moyes' team

Howard
Hibbert-Jagielka-Distin-Baines
Osman-Neville-Arteta-Pienaar
Fellaini
Beckford

Not an awful team, but not what I, or perhaps any over Evertonian, wants.

MY XI:
Howard
Hibbert Jags Heitinga Baines
Coleman Maro Arteta Pienaar
Cahill (osman)
Yakubu

Would love to see 2 firsts this season, a blues prem win and a clean sheet to boot. Im going 2-0 blues Maro and Mikel, COYB.

If we dont win 8-0 then the team should be docked a years wages, after all Scumcastle are the worse team in the league

Hate to be a doom monger, but Distin is almost inevitably gonna start.

So they are bound to score. The sooner he gets dropped, the better. I defended him last year, but he's been fairly chronic so far.

And I have to agree with the posters who questioned why a better centre back in Yobo, has been farmed out, whilst Distin remains.

Please play Johnny there instead Moyesy

good looking line up. I would give it a go.

We need to hit and hurt these chunters!

Im gonna be on later saturday night wanting to know why we havent tonked this shower by a 3 goal margin at home if it doesnt happen

This will be won or lost in midfeild for me, Fellaini and Jeitinga Vs Barton and Nolan, some Newcastle debuts tomorow possibly Tiote, Ben Arfra and Campbell.

Obviously one of them will score a hatrick.
