We have a very heavy programme in December and over the New Year, so the home draw against Leicester is ideal. But Silva must change the team to spread the load.

He'll have to give Richarlison, Gomes and Digne a rest at some point. Should he rest them against Newcastle and Watford or City and Spurs? I'd play Lookman and Baines against Newcastle, then Zouma and Calvert-Lewin against Watford.

Neither would be like for like for Gana and it wouldn’t surprise me if Silva tweaked the system a little for the next couple of games.
