What frustrates me the most is when we are struggling and flat, not one of them stands up and try’s to take the game by the scruff of the neck. We were one speed the whole night, never really looked like winning.
Frustration aside we are still a decent team and still a work in progress.

Disappointing that we couldn't create anything in the 2nd half. Little bit of composure missing especially from Digne......different boots tonight. Pickford makes a great save in last 5 minutes to ensure a point for us. Going to get a lot of teams coming to Goodison to shut up shop and we have to learn how to open them up while keeping tight at the back. Think Lookman needs the sub role with a little longer on the pitch each time.

Must say Mason let a few nasty tackles go.

Was woeful overall. Slow to pull out cards at start lead to most of barcodes gettings yellows when a few of them should have picked up 2. They fouled every play. Hands all over mina for a defo peno... i could go on

No point in saying defo pen because they're never given and we do as much pulling in our own box.

Fair some poor challenges but no excuses, we were seriously bad tonight.

It's getting to a point where our lack of creativity in wide areas is a real issue and we seem to be forcing the ball wide a lot too. Last assist from a winger who started the game was Bernard vs Leicester and that last one period was Lookman against Palace. The fullbacks haven't been much better. Until that improves we won't be scoring many goals.

A spinesless gutless performance. They had 3 chances, scored one, should have scored all three. We had no chances, scored one from a set piece, which was also crap.

How did Newcastle finish with 11 men on the pitch? The game plan was obviously to grab a goal if possible then kick the ............ out of the opposition. Not a football team (n).
Digne and Idrissa need to either learn how to shoot or, if they can't, just pass the ball to someone who can. There's nothing to be gained by vollying the ball into the top tier.

Two points thrown away tonight (n)
New striker definitely needed and Digne had a complete stinker!!
Need to pick it up against Watford on Monday.
