Signs were there a [Poor language removed] up like this was waiting to happen. Should have been home and dry against Brighton and nearly let them back into it.
Yes they were!?

Defensively we have some very average players, would only keep Holgate from tonight myself.
Holgate appears to be the only one who can see danger and have the attributes to manage.

There would be uproar on here if Silva made those subs.

Keane or Gordon would of been better options than Niasse who gave the ball away which lead to a goal.

The players cost us

How can you defend them after that mate? I don’t understand it, I really don’t. What fan base in the world wouldn’t go ballistic after that? We’ve had record net spends, massive losses and one of the most expensive managers in the world to be worse than mediocre? I don’t see how it’s unfair for the supporters to demand more and to be absolutely bouncing after what those gutless cowards out there just did. I also think we are very lucky that a lot of other teams are so inconsistent as we could be in real danger of going down with how appalling we’ve been this season.

What are you on about defending them?

I'm furious.

But I don't think we'll be relegated.

Weird take.

Losing a 2 goal lead in the last 2 minutes is a total bummer and should never happen, but I thought we played well tonight thought the football we played was good and there was good performances from players who have been awful for the majority of the season, we all know that the players we've got aren't good enough and it will take time to put right but there is positive signs, Bernard, Holgate, DLC to name a few and Kean showed signs tonight that there is a good player in there. I have to admit I left the game on 90 minutes and was well pleased at the way we played, we just need to keep the faith trust in our manager, the turn around won't happen overnight but it will happen. Call it blind optimism but I'm feeling more optimistic than I have for a good while.

That is completely unforgiveable
There is no excuse for bottling it like that in that fashion
Questions need to be asked by Ancelotti and those who fell asleep need to be held responsible.
Completely put a dark cloud over what had been a really positive night for Bernard, DCL and especially Kean.
Our number of chances compared to theirs was massive
Still I take consolation in that this season is already over for us in the grand scheme of things with not much to play for. As long we make these mistakes now this season and have a good summer transfer window and build from our errors. Carlo can see which rats need to be let go
That's the attitude. Unforgivable but what you gonna do? Let's bottle it in a more proper fashion. eh, and season already over... and that the circle of Evertonian life. It's like waiting for a fresh start that never comes.
I don't what to wait for the next season, I want them just play well regardless whether there are any chances for trophies or not, is that so much to ask? to start well in the future they have to work their boots off NOW.

You mean the team that’s significantly mentally stronger with us, and made us look like absolute idiots in front of our home fans?

Mate, it’s ok to be upset, but significantly mentally stronger? They were woeful for 94 minutes, we were woeful for 2.

Im fuming too but I would rather watch us every week than them (just)
