To be fair to Carlo in regards to Siggy, he’s picking from a bad bunch. I’m sure in an ideal world he’d have him nowhere near the starting 11. Given another window or 2 I’d expect that to happen.

Some positions on the bench today are third choice remember. With Richarlison in our team, we do have an okay bench. Bernard/ Sigurdsson/ Gomes/ Iwobi/ Gordon/ Mina/ Olsen are decent back ups. Our backup striker is shocking though of course!

You guys forget that in the midfield of 3, we have looked better with Gomes than with Siggy.

Siggy is not a CM. Yes he offers more offensively, but we need the stupid 5 yard passes Gomes does unfortunately. Otherwise, Doucoure and Allan won't be able to absorb pressure.without having a technical player available to bail them out.
