We have a major flaw in our tactics, in that Doucoure was bought to be a box to box midfielder, supporting the attacks and making late runs into the box.

But more often than not, his job is to cover for James, who doesn't track (nor does he really have to). This just leaves DCL isolated and no movement in the middle of the pitch.

Feel like when Gbamin is fit, he needs to play where Doucoure is, and Doucoure to play on the left of the midfield three, making use of what is a completely redundant place in the team when Gylfi or Gomes play there.

Our bench is crap. Only sub he can make is Gomes for Sigurdsson. Like asking would you rather have your left ball chopped or your right.

Allan needs to be Mccarthy. When the FB goes forward he takes that space.

I knew as soon as Ancelotti would introduce Siggy into the mix it'd go wrong and viola. Siggy is literally a blocker on the whole side - he counters our previous functionality. But we've fallen into that trap yet again by selecting him every week. Bloody amazing.

As the weeks go by, it is becoming clearer and clearer that result was anomaly. Teams have got us well sussed and it´s not even 10 games in.
