Only explanation I have is that he's accepted the season is dead and is just trying different things. He hasn't seen how god-awful Sigurdsson is wide left so perhaps he just wants to see it first hand.

If so, I hope he at least enjoys the show.

It’s like he’s trying to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he doesn’t fit into any position in our team. He was absolutely woeful against Arsenal, Gary Neville made a point of it.

More I look at it the more I'm convinced it's 4-3-3. Richarlison left, Walcott right, DCL centre.

If so it's not a bad line-up in theory. It means that we don't have to rely on the faded Baines/Coleman to get beyond the midfield and can hold our shape a bit more.

Er, at least Gylfi's corners are decent. Is Bernard carrying a slight knock or something?

Slugs of war clogging up the pitch again with Gylfi, Keane, Coleman and Baines. Can't wait until we finally have a competitive squad.

Still think we'll do these.

Some players just have an uncanny ability in making themselves look good to every manager they play under.

He's going to be a thorn in our side until his contraxt expires sadly.

Rather have mina instead of keane, delph instead of baines. Bernard instead of sig.
Contrary to the gash I heard from some supporters last weekend Baines was solid, 7.5/10 easy, had Bellerin in his pocket all game, put in some good balls.

And that's why Carlo has gone with him again.

have to assume he's picked Sigg to try and get on Fernades all game.
