Hang on in there, it will be worth it!Ten years! Probably won't be around to see that

Mate, I love the optimism but we are light years behind them after 30 years of terrible ownership. Even if we got to a point where we were able to spend as much as them, as we were performing well, the league would probably just change the rules again to make sure that gulf isn't crossed. They'll probably spend another 400mil this year like it's nothing.I do. It will be a slow process but we have a better stadium then them, in a location which is about to become a new hub of the city, and they have just wasted 0.5 billion on rubbish. what makes you so sure we won't gradually overtake them?
That's really not squad depth at all. None of those players are of the standard we need. Our current starting right back is playing out of position as well
It's not about numbers, it's about quality. We have no quality full backs and only one half decent striker. It's not enough.
No, that's 'depth'. It's not 'strength in depth'
Just IMO mate, for starters our regular right back isn't even a right back, our regular left back is useless and we have no cover for him.
Thats the sword Moyes should ultimately die on .
We have seen improvement under him but his inability to integrate new or younger players is the thing that's stiffeling the club. He is a percentage manager who knows that sticking with the same system and players will generally give you enough points for the upper end of the table but never enough to really be in contention for the top spots.
It all depends on what FKN want from the club , the summer will tell us more, I would be worried if they decide on a contract extension as for me that would show a lack of ambition.
The manner of the defeat was comical. To lose it like that was farcical. Banter clubs lose big games the way we did today. Add on the fact we didn’t once test their Central League goalkeeper and it’s utterly maddening.
Well. we're sorting out the running of the club, so the one remaining advantage they have over us is the size of their global fanbase and the money it generates. I honestly believe we will start closing that gap now. Once Liverpool Waters is complete, we'll be a huge magnet for attention, new fans and all that global branding nonsense that has put the reds where they are.Mate, I love the optimism but we are light years behind them after 30 years of terrible ownership. As already stated youre quoting depth of squad that isn't up to standard, you said it yourself Paterson 'average'Moyes first choice LB is Mykolenko
Moues first choice RB is O'Brien
Thats a fact.
The backup LB is Aznou
The backup RB is Patterson
Moyes signed Aznou.
Moyes refused to continue talks with either Truffert or Wesley who were Thelwell choices.
Moyes wanted Tete who had premier league experience.
He refused to sign anyone else.
Patterson has done fine this season and Aznou did well in his LW cameo we have no idea how good he is.
Weve got the numbers.
As for quality its clear that Moyes will favour premier league experience and ageing players.
Who is going to join this club under Moyes unless theyre nailed on starters?
We have Aznou. How do we know hes not good enough?
We have Patterson who is an average right back.
Surely its clear Moyes went with O'Brien at preseason and has used him at RB whenever he can. To Moyes hes a RB.
If we get Europe then we'll see what this new recruitment team who have been chosen by Moyes, can do.
If we dont then he'll blame us not having Europe.
Unfortunately correct, they do love Moyes, they don't see him as any threat whatsoever.A break in play and any manager worth their salt gets players over to him and drums that into his team: pepper the Liverpool box with crosses and put an inexperienced GK under maximum pressure.
Moyes sat there gurning his stupid 'kin face for 40 minutes as the game slipped away from us.
The Kopites love Moyes. They feel very, very safe going into derbies with him in charge of Everton because - and despite all his faux 'stern-ness' - they know he's a cluelesshouse of a manager.
I suppose you like Mcneil who had two ,five second flashes that will give him a place in the next game . All is never black or white and freak results do happen but Moyes is and has been for a while too stuck in his style ,why do you think he shouldn't play other players ? Please don't say that they don't have experience ! How do they get it ? Why did he sign off on Alcaraz ,Röhl and Dibling ? Why did he keep Armstrong ? Why doesn't he play a right back as a right back ?Recent memory says this is not entirely true. Chelsea and man u.

It is the hope that kills you ,that and expecting miracles .There is no way we can bridge the gap ,there was even a gap when we won in the eighties ,it is not a premiership thing it is much deeper and longer than that ,it goes back to Shankly's time.Well. we're sorting out the running of the club, so the one remaining advantage they have over us is the size of their global fanbase and the money it generates. You can't say it's nothing to do with Moyes. It's his job to make sure the players are motivated and concentrating until the final whistle. If they're doing that then VVD is properly marked and doesn't score. If you're going to say that's nothing to do with him, then neither are any of the goals we score.
who does not risk, does not win.Sack him for what? Providing stability for the first time in ages? I'm not looking to do a west ham here. Also not looking forward to another spell of a manager merry go round. We looked good until beto got injured. I honestly think we win that game if he stayed on. At worst we would've drawn. I'd not be against another season of stability with moyes at the helm.
Can't see it now myself , the baloon has been deflatedWe're 1 point of a European place. We've got west ham, palace, spurs and sunderland to play that are potentially winnable. Believe.
As already stated youre quoting depth of squad that isn't up to standard, you said it yourself Paterson 'average'
We need players in every position pushing each other, we don't have that atm and we're getting by with the few quality players we have.
I'm not getting into an argument, if you think we have quality strength in depth fair enough it's your opinion.
