Other teams managers sign young players and develop them.

None of them improve under this manager.
To be fair, Moyes has been here nearly 16months now. What is his style of football? Still don’t know. What’s his system? Cos he surely hasn’t signed the right players for his formation or tactics he plays. Barry is never gonna be able to hold the ball up or chase it down. Hasn’t got the legs or physical strength for that.

Majority of these managers now, they sign young players to fit there systems and play to there strengths, we haven’t done that. In the previous summer, it feels like they signed players cos they needed them.

It was clearly evident that Dibling was 3rd or 4th choice and there other targets wouldn’t entertain coming here. Was Barry his first choice for a striker/centre forward? Don’t think he was.

na it’s tiresome that he’s getting the blame for a free header they scored off

a draw would of been fair

we was playing 12 men to with that ref
I don’t blame him for the header mate, simply for not making sure we had the fittest, most productive team on the pitch that we could have had at that moment.

He is woeful at making subs. He’s had some extraordinary results this season that he gets absolute credit for, and that paper over the cracks of his poor in-game management.

When he gooses it up - and he does fairly regularly - then he’ll be called out on it.

Hope you get home safe.

Sorry 2 turning points in that game.
The first one was Beto going off, who for all his critics, is a handful, whose link up play , is massively improving.
The second was losing our best defender, with what looked like a hamstring injury.
The simple fact of the matter is we have about 14 players , at most that are PL league standard.
The rest are young players with potential that are too raw and inconsistent , too be regularly starters.
The proof of that was Barry and George today.
Look st their bench and look at who we could bring on. One of their players cost more than our entire rebuild and on that performance Beto looks the better bet.
Absolutely gutted we did not deserve to lose that.

You do this every time, you’ll ignore the macro issues and focus in on ‘oh it wasn’t the manager who defended the corner’ ‘oh it wasn’t the manager who missed a chance’

Like it means anything. It’s not his job to defend the corner. It’s his job to make sure we have a functioning team on the pitch. And he failed today, our best defender was risked and is now likely injured for a while and our midfield was exhausted for the last 15.

But sure, he wasn’t marking Van Dijk personally so the manager is at no fault at all.
THIS...if the manager is never actually held accountable for what actually happens on the field, why even pay the man???

Gutted, as usual we didn’t deserve that, but I’m fookin sick of very poor RS teams walking out of our home having won the game.

Referees let Van bader ref the whole thing, criminal from him but I’m far to used to it now, it’s laughable.

Aside from the ref, we didn’t get into them nearly enough throughout the game, and looked worried/scared as usual.

Not acceptable with them being a dog ruff as they are.

Only positive is that might keep that bald fraud at Mordor in a job a bit longer.

They had a 3rd choice keeper in goal. We were the home side. Yet it was them who finished strongly, not happy with just a point.

We lack quality 100% but we don't have the belief and mentality to win big games.
They wanted it more in the end BECAUSE they used all their subs and pushed on. We did NOT use all of our subs (surprise to nobody) and tried to hold on. Not rocket science.
