Liverpool deserved to win.

Everton played some cute football in phrases, but aside from the goal didn't bother testing their keeper.

Pathetic in the final third.

With all our huge players, to concede from a corner is unforgivable.

I agree we should be better at defending set pieces BUT Liverpool did NOT deserve to win.

You don't need 80 million pound players. Several teams have scored late winners against them this season. These teams don't care about reputations.

I think the emotional irrational for many is that it happened again against them, like you said. Remove the emotion and logically there's a lot of positives you can find but even without emotion attached there are definitely quite a few negatives to suggest we are not quite Europe-level ready yet.

For me that's fine, after the last few seasons of relegation threats. We're on the right track but still need a few more pieces.

But if we had of snatched today in a similar vain as the RS, we'd all be bouncing off the wall and talking about Europe, it's fine margins innit.
