Be interesting to see how Liverpool spin this game into their usual woe is me, hard luck story. Just a constant stream of obscene good fortune. It’s also not true though. He stands in the right spot but he’s not actually helping defensively because as soon as he’s called upon to do anything he’s too slow.

It all seems unjust but it’s what happens with real quality in the top third, they have the ability to punish the McNeil error.

Played well enough and don’t deserve to be down but half-time probably comes at the right time with them looking more likely to add a 2nd. Hang on in there, they’re fragile if we can get the next goal.
