Player Valuation: £35m
A perfect example of why proactive management is so important. All of Liverpool’s best moments coming from one spot on the field and that spot is the one being occupied by Dwight McNeil. Now I know McNeil hadn’t done anything specifically to be dropped. But this was a game against a high level team with a lot of athletic players that was always going to be high intensity and it doesn’t suit a player who struggles to play at a PL intensity on the slowest of days. This was foreseeable and the manager was not proactive in dealing with it. We’re not behind here if he had.
I’m just begging him to fix it at halftime. It might now be too late.
When the ball goes forward he's no where to be seen on that wing. Is he injured or unfit?
It's classic Moyes having his favourites.
