Initially I wrote two gash teams, then changed it to 1 gash team and a team in gash form, then just left the form bit.

Even better for us then.

But let's sack the board I say.

Come on man.

A draw isn't a terrible result. But how can you look at that game and not want better.

If wanting a win at home vs your biggest rivals is asking too much, what can we ever ask for that is reasonable?

Benefit: we didn't loose and we kept a clean sheet

Negatives: literally everything else about the performance; 1 shot on target in 90 mins for a supposed attacking team is atrocious

Despite everything I think we were a bit better than we were against Palace.

Glad we never lost but we bottled it tonight.
We are clueless on the attack.
Alcaraz gave the ball away 5 times out of 5.
On the plus side MCcarthy is back and stones, joel and jags look solid.
Just a footnote to the manager stop putting rom on the wing to play naismith.

2 things i took from the game today which are more important than the crap result

1. Martinez has gone against everything he originally stood for in terms of play style, possession football and emphasis on attacking because that today was a team set up to grab a draw and that was it, he is slowly turning in to Moyes V2.

2. Ive dislike Barry all season long and today he officially took over the club mantle of being Phil Neville, he was being carried today and for about 10 minutes in that 2nd half did everything he could to give them the lead, should not be anywhere near the starting XI with the way he is playing, if Barkley is getting 8 minutes a game barry shouldn't be getting half that.

my word that was one of the biggest pieces of crap i've ever seen. what a terrible game, just had that feeling all day it would have been terrible.

martinez really should have brought barkley on earlier to go for the win. going 5 at the back for the last 5 mins was just absurd. he feels the need to compensate for barkley in midfield, but he has barry and mccarthy back there to do that work.

i hope to god barry doesn't play next game, he will obviously, but he was truly terrible again today.

love it when commentators will say they came closest to winning because they hit the post, yet we were denied by a great save (from a shot that was actually going into the net). last time i checked, only 1 of them shots is registered as on target i.e. going into the goal.

Postives
----------
Robles isn't half bad
McCarthy looked good and strong
Lennon is fast
Besic is Besic
Good defending

Negatives
-----------
We could have played for 7 hours and not scored.
Enough of Barry now. He's awful these days.
One shot on target? Ok mate.
Oviedo is not Baines/Garbutt.
What's the point in Everton at the minute.
