Until 2016, Leicester were the poor relations in the East Midlands.

That's an area with a 14 mile road that connects Derby (utter dump) and Nottingham (like a deprived version of Mega City One crossed with the worst parts on Manila). This road is in such poor repair you'd have thought that the Americans had launched a preemptive strike against it, trying to destroy a mutant convoy of no-teeth Leicester fans who were travelling along it. It's a sort of metaphor for the hand-to-mouth existence these no-mark offspring off our country's backwaters live in.

Jamie Vardy, a man who would be in a Far Right political group if he could remember acronyms longer than two letters, is the poster child for their club.
