He's just not a threat for us from set pieces to be honest mate, whether thats down to the delivery or him I'm not so sure. Don't see this being a game won by set pieces by either side

Seriously mate if set pieces are taken out the equation, then we will beat you as it's the one thing you could easily have got a 1 or2 goal lead on us on ;p

Anyway, think we will beat you 5-2 today and it won't be as one sided as that score suggests but just a tremendous game which sees both teams go for it, btw Drinkwater is a huge loss today

Any game where a team puts a football ten feet into the air in our penalty box is going to cause us problems!
We are a bit rubbish at defending that sort of thing at the moment lads.

I don't know if it's just what the top teams automatically think about the lesser teams but I can honestly say we're probably the weakest set piece team in the league in both boxes. Our threat is simply pace on the counter attack with a high pressing game

It's more a reflection on our inability to defend set pieces mate, I think we are aware of the danger you pose from open play, how can we not be, your having a vardy party.

Not bricking it anywhere near as much as the Leicester fan who stuck a fiver on us to be top at Christmas at 1000/1
Easy problem to sort out,an Everton win with the arsenal/city game a draw, think thats fair lol,if only things were that simple with everton though, all your goals have been scored inside the 18 yard box supposedly as well,so no doubt the 1st is comming from outside the 18 yard box today lol sticking to 3-2 everton win,or 2-2

We'll have to lump it in there and hope you score an own goal then lol

We really need to try and peg Coleman and Baines back today else we're in real trouble imo

Think Mahrez got one outside of the box but might be wrong
Really should be a goal fest but you never know

Honestly, If you are a goal down with minutes remaining, pumping high balls into our area will almost guarantee an equalizer. We are fed up of conceding soft goals from crosses mate, you have no idea lol.

I'd be more worried about Deulofeu and Lukaku but then if you double up on Deulofeu it opens space for barkley, Baines and Coleman. I think because of the threat your main 2 guys pose, our full backs might be more cautious, probably not though haha.

Hi mate, I was refering to previous games when he has started. Lad hasnt been showing enough this season or last season.
Fair enough, but Everton is so close to being a genuine contender and Mirallas in form could be the man to take us to that level. He won't if he isn't playing.

I just want to see what would happen with him on the left, Del on the right, both at their best. Just imagine.

Hope so mate ;) I do not doubt that with both firing they would be frighten the life out of defenders. COYB!

He will still collect even if Foxes lose today and both Arsenal and City fail to win.

Here's hoping that is the scenario and the boy has a great Christmas ;)

On edit.....I have just realised Arsenal and Cuty verse each other.

Great chance of a draw there all right.

It is on :)

sorry if you took it the wrong way , we obviously don't get to see your games for 90 mins. The fact that you are not great at set pieces is a bonus for us because believe me evertonians have spoken about nothing else this season, regards our ability to defend our penalty area.
