I didn't think the ref was that bad, to be honest. From the beginning, the game was pretty sour and I think he just about held things together. Oh, and he did give us a goal that should have been disallowed.

A six out of 10 performance in my view. Could be better but could be a hell of a lot worse.

The ref was bad - on both sides. Booked Fellaini for no good reason really, and then after that decided to give us the majority of freekicks for the rest of the game.

What did people think of the Pen Appeal?

Anyway, best players Arteta, Fellaini and Jagielka. I was happy with Cahills performance - because he was getting constantly fouled (bad refereeing). I wasnt too happy with Osman - 4 against 2 and he runs into the 2 defenders - i mean FFS.

just got in. didnt see match. Why should one of the goals have been disallowed?

was it offside or something?

Just got home to check the this good result.

Can't believe though, that a professional player in Feilani can't stop himself getting booked for ONE frign game !

We are now going into a derby so un-manned it's ridiculous...

unbelieveable.

:(

Just got back in from a drink, so late in replying, but Nebbiolo, I don't think that anyone that I 've seen says that Arsenal or Utd are easier matches. I think I said that they are different and a player who gets carded all the time is potentially more of a liability in a derby than another match. All things equal, of course I would want Fellaini to play in the derby. But given the choice between him missing out against Liverpool twice (once in the cup) or against Arsenal and Utd, I'd take the first option. Because you know he would have got a yellow or worse in the first derby match.

Atrottel, he manages to go through games without getting a yellow. The fire that he could have given is what bugs me about this. Fellaini is quickly becoming integral to the team; like a new Tim Cahill. But I see your point and you could very well be right. Let's face it, we're all just playing at guessing future events.

Check the above - way offside.

The reason for the end production from the linesman was because he was blind!

And trust me this is not call way offside, I am sure you remember couple of these offside decision went against us when the player was standing much further in the offside position than our man today!

All I could say to the Hull's fans is "Some decision goes for you, some goes against you." We deserve such luck on this ocassion as we have suffer many of these decision this season already!

Very good and convincing victory for us with 2 well worked goals, firstly a great header from Screech and then a rocket missile from Arteta which the goalie didnt stand an earthly of getting too. The ref was an absolute disgrace, by first booking Screech for being tall and then Cahill for falling over a defender into the goalie.

Looks like hitting them as hard as you can seems to be paying off for Mikel, thats 2 now recently where he hits it straight and hard and they have flown in.

Makes a change to his old efforts of placing it 2 foot over.
