I do agree with both you and @rochdaleblue that we look very devoid of ideas going forward.

However, it was clear for everyone to see that our defence was the issue last term and that was even alluded to by RK in his initial press conferences. It's clear that the majority of work done in pre-season has been focused on the defensive side of our game and I do think we look a lot better without the ball.

Just now need to find the balance between being too focused on defence and quality in attack.

Is it over thank f--- for that, less than impressed. RK at least kept with his liking for Kev, he's got another 90 under his belt, Jags looked knackered, young Davies did a decent job and Stekie has to be first choice keeper. Other than that we have little to shout about but plenty to boo about, here we go again with flags already at half mast, it'll take more than a couple of signings to sort that lot out.

Good picture of Ron during the match in the Echo.....

You having a go at the match going fans mate ?
Booing is not going to fix the team. It is only going to make things worse. It is a young team, and while we should strive to be the best but we are not there yet. The manager needs to get some signings in.

This pre-season has to be a massive reality check for RK (not so much for us). Hopefully, he knows what to do about it, as there is no end of advice for him on here. Not expecting any overnight fixes, or instant gratification, but I wouldn't mind some encouraging signs of progress. Too much to ask?

Ooooh I've found some domestos, thought it all went after El Pricko's efforts

A worryingly flat performance. Gana started shakily but showed real promise. More to his game than McCarthy. Overall I'm glad we still have over £90 million left in the transfer kitty. lol
