Walcott shouldn't be considered an automatic starter. I'd consider lookman now. Another egregious miss by Theo today. Anonymous for most of the day. If lookmans head is right he's better, period.

..I thought Gueye was terrific and he looks comfortable with Gomes but, as his worst critic, I went for Keane who was solid and delivered a fine pass for Tosun to score.

I like Gomes, I think Silva wants somebody to dictate the tempo of games and he could be the man. Fine save by Pickford, it wasn’t lucky.

he wasnt CDM today, he was more of the Kante role where he just roamed around smashing up their play

I went for Keane. Got his head to almost everything. He is starting to look a player now.
His lack of pace on a turn is still a concern but he is so much better than last season.

Keane got worse as the game went on. Massive wet flannel.
