If McCarthy is not going to add much needed bite in midfield, give Besic a run out and bring McCarthy on for the last 30 minutes to run his socks off, harrass and chase everything down. Exploit an off-form Ivanovic and generally out-of-sorts defence .. Lukaku to bash and bully them .. and pace. I'd use Del and Lennon if Mirallas is not showing willing in training.

Let Big Dunc do the team talks, ditch the half time camomile tea and give them Walter White's latest pick-me -up.

we let 2 points slip away vs. watford...but we gained that back @ southampton.

we were simply outclassed by maybe the best team in the world in city.

a wild performance vs. barnsley.

played OK vs. tottenham.

so far, we are about even and haven't lost any real points. unlike last year where we probably would've lost both the southampton and tottenham matches.

No problems with Stones playing whatsoever, he's shown he's up to it and his mind is in the right place. I do hope however that there's going to be someone with him when he walks on and off the pitch as you know full well that Jose will try to yap at him to get at him. Would be good to have someone there as a witness/deterrent if nothing else.
