It's a pity the great man couldn't score against the RS & Spurs(Still a long way off world class).
I would say Ibra/Aguero are the only PL strikers who has been world class!
Kane/Lukaku are prolific in the PL and always will be but i dont think either will be world class IMO.

....hearing lots of commentators saying after yesterday's victory by United that the gap at the top is down to 4 points and " Chelsea have to go to Everton". Already it's being billed as the key game of the run-in, I can imagine all Spurs fans are already focused on it.

Pressure on.

On who? Us or Chelsea?

Chelsea, I hope.

...yep. I suppose it's a positive sign that commentators are looking at their run and immediately highlighting their game against us as a tough one. There'll be no pressure on us but it could be a pivotal game for our visitors. The other comment being made is "Chelsea have lost 3 of their last 5 visits to Goodison".

He is a poor keeper and yesterday proved it. The peno was shocking and he was punching when easier to catch.

He's a decent keeper (his stats have proved it this season) who's looking not to be good enough to be our number 1, but he's a good back - up who can come in and do a job. The alternative is Stek, who is also a poor keeper and liable to make howlers, so at the end of the day we're hardly blessed between the sticks.

Bought be gone next year hopefully. Liabilities the 2 of them n cost more points than they win for us.

My thoughts on the game are as follows:
Joel should not start for us there is not much difference between him and the youth keeper (who looks poor sometimes also)

Jags nearly cost us with back passes but he kept his confidence witch is good because he's going to need it next week v Carroll ex RS

Crowd was getting bit frustrated around 30 mins, something we need to get rid of we kicked it up a gear before ht ended but was pretty bad

fans are quick to get on back although there was't nerves in the air we can feel with some grounds. (us last season, west ham this year boro this year)

It's nice to win at 30% effort and being able to go up another level when needed is good

We need to play the same way away from home as at home and we will be onto a winning formula.

Then again, 2 of those came during a freak season.

Ouch! Has robles been that bad?

I can think of a few a close games before Christmas where he made snap saves to help the team keep points.

How old is he, given that he's done an Ok job season long and improved since Martinez, should we not got behind him.

As a back up, who would you go look at as a no. 1 ? With Hart out of favour I wonder if he'd be a fit for us?

After watching him up close mate on sat he needs binning.
Break the bank for Butland if they are happy the injury is not an issue. After that maybe Forrester from Soton
Don't want Hart and Pickford not big enough for me.
