This is beyond even my optimism now. I've tried to give Koeman a fair crack of the whip; I'm not one for knee jerk reactions, but this is ludicrous.

Our form this year has been dire. Absolutely shocking.

If we allowed this to go on until even just Christmas, we could be staring at two or three points above the drop.

With a paper thin defence and an impotent attacking force? I can't see a way through this.

Anyone making an excuse for Koeman, look at both ours and Burnley’s starts to the season, and look at the table. Burnley have been brilliant.
