Wayne Clarke scoring Everton’s winning goal in their 0-1 win against Arsenal in this First Division One match which was played at Highbury Stadium on the 28th March 1987.

God! Wayne Clarke! Had forgotten him. The kind of bloke we could have done with, pre-Ancelotti. Not the most gifted, but with a talent for putting the ball in the net with a scuffed shot, rather than a thunderbolt straight at the keeper, or inches wide.

Do Arsenal have any fullbacks left? Kolasinac and Tierney injured, and Bellerin seems doubtful. Bernard / Iwobi / Richarlison should fancy their chances cutting in from the wing.

I think it's a dreadful way to set up.

If you absolutley must, then a good blend of pairing is essential. Apart from starting with Tosun (which he wont) plus a pacier forward like Richarlison we dont have that blend.

Good managers work with the materials they have to hand. With our depleted midfield we should be starting 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1...that's if we had a manager knowledgable in tactics....
Oh the answer was staring Bill in the face all along. He should got the phone to you and got you in with you ‘knowledgeable tactics’ given that you know more than a 11 year premier league player who can completed all his coaching badges, has the respect of the dressing room and love of the fans. This needs correcting

If its Duncan's last game I think he might want to tackle the Moise Kean issue. Duncan has shown that
he's not of making changes and taking unconventional decisions. And it would be great for everybody if
Duncan left with Kean on top of the world. Plus Bernard has been not playing well.

So, my line-up for midfield and attack is; Gilfi and Tom; Richarlson, Keane, DCL and Iwobi.

Never thought I'd say but hope sigurdsson is back today. Think the midfield needs a rejig and refresh, looked leggy against leicester. Hopefully sidibe back too.

Delph maybe outside chance of the bench.

Get stuck in and play long and these will crumble.

I'd go 4231, get an extra man in midfield. If its not working switch up to 442.

Pickford
Sidibe Keane mina baines
Holgate sigurdsson
Richarlison iwobi bernard
Dcl.

Obviously Michael keanes been woeful so could drop Holgate back into defence, and play Tom, but personally think he needs a rest.

If it's a toss up between dropping Keane and playing Holgate in defence, or dropping Holgate or Davies in midfield, then I sincerely hope he ditches Keane.

Never a phrase more potent for today than get right into their knackers. One team that wont like it more is arsenal. No mercy. Straight into them.

Preying for some midfield recovery’s so mason can get back into cb. Don’t think I can take one more game of Mick Kegger at the back.

Hope we give these an absolute pasting today, to cement the doubts in the minds of many Arsenal fans who question the wisdom of Arteta’s appointment in the first place.

And, of course, for Duncan to finish on a well deserved high.
