Agreed, although I thought it was a very good overall team performance too.

I've gone for Gomes in the end, purely because today he reminded me of the best individual performance I've ever seen by an Everton midfielder. Paul Bracewell in the home win against Sunderland in 1985. Sublime.

We just have to buy him in the summer.

Great to see the fans in top form too. We get a bit of tick from the media but if the team show passion we always get behind them. The great football being played at the moment is just icing.

I missed the first half. Alarm was set and I briefly woke before rolling over and going back to sleep.

Saw all of the second half. Despite not scoring, we looked really good. Completely outworked them.

First half was a bit scrappy, but we in comfort zone really - they made changes, but how many shots did Pickford have to save - none,,,,,,.......
