You wouldn't see either of those VAR decisions given against Liverpool, Man U or Man C.

Sorry bud, but that's demonstrably a stupid conclusion to reach.

What they proved this evening is that they are capable of displaying grit, determination, a will to win. However they have also proved in other weeks that they are perfectly happy to coast and get hammered by all kinds of opposition.

Still a long way off from a team full of people you can rely on week in and week out.
Nah for me what they showed is that they're always trying and that they just aren't that good. I've also reached that conclusion awhile ago. But I think tonight shows that if your feeling is they can't handle pressure and adversity well they can and you're wrong.

Outstanding goal from Gray, but Richy was a man possessed, he was not going to let us lose tonight.

The great thing about Gray is he isn't afraid of the ball (sounds ridiculous saying that when you are talking about footballers).

He wants it, he's not arsed if it doesn't come off because he'll try again.

Superb goal. Great effort which hit the bar as well.

Would have been motm if it wasn't wasn't Richarlison playing like a man possessed tonight.

I’ve no complaints about the first one, it was clearly offside, only by a whisker, but, you could look across the line when the free was taken and he was off. The second one should have stood though, it was a good goal. It probably evened itself out though, because Godfrey was a very lucky boy not to get a straight red for the stamp. I’m not saying for definite that it was deliberate, but, it didn’t look innocent to me.

Richardson scores 3...and no OGs
We win 2-1
Everton That
You couldn't make it up
This will go down as - "The Hat Trick that never was" game

Edit; I know there is no such thing as an "Offside Position" now...(how we got to that is another thread)
But...before the ball is even kicked...if the Blue shirts are nearer to the keeper than red shirts, you're not doing yourself any favours in a potential offside debate

I`m gonna stick my neck out here..... It may be controversial but I think Gomes still has something to offer.

I thought we`d get beat today, especially after the 1st half. I said "We will not score 2". I was wrong.....The only time I`m happy to be wrong

COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS
Not controversial, he does offer a lot if in the right frame of mind but not often enough
