I am so proud. Tippsy as anything and proud. I had a feeling if we were calm and got amongst them we could give them a heavy defeat. Highlights a plenty but Lukaku celebrating with Martinez was fabulous. Special mention for the outrageous showboating from Seamus. Never thought I would see someone outdo Fernandes's against, ironically, Arsenal :)

I wonder how much Everton want this? We’ll find out on Sunday. Stop staring at the mouth of that gift horse Everton, the thing needs mounting. We’ve got a train to Europe to catch.

And lets make that ticket first class.

I do believe we well and truly mounted them today. Nice preview by the way.

When oh when are we going to stop taking the gloss off our performances when we beat a so called better team, by saying they were bad or weak. Everton are playing just as good as these teams so if we beat them it is because we played well and not that they played bad. I also recall the close defeats against Chelsea and Spurs and the draw against Arsenal whereas people decided that we should have won because they were bad. We need to give a bit more credit to our own team. This season we are good.....very good in fact and this can make other teams look not as good even though they are very good :)

no...i didnt put that very well. I meant i dont think ALL the players were that great...obviously some were outstanding. I meant more that...difficult as it is to see it in a 3-0 win in a big game...we were still weak going forward much of the time. Taking the wrong option or going it alone when some simple link play would have opened them up.

And I am over the moon right now about everything at the club. The criticism I make above is purely because if we can have a season like this even with these flaws imagine what we can do with a little bit more quality...oh and also with Bobby having more time improving each player we have already got.

"Logically speaking, it's ON!"

Other than the pleasure of making a very expensive side look like crap, the absolute best thing about this match is not shutting up shop and holding on for win as we used to do which always made me somehow feel like these important wins were fortunate.

That is now no longer our default setting and that willingness to hurt teams that are pressing for goals is what makes today's win so much more satisfying!

Up the Toffees!!!!
