One thing I noticed today is we had no luck at all with the bounce of the ball. Reflections and everything came popping out straight to the opposition. Football is a fair bit of luck and I'm glad we sealed the win as we got little of it from the bounce of the ball today

Thought Gomes looked good, few snidey tackles and that, nuisance in the midfield. Lookman looked really good, digne solid, one of keanes better games for us.

I'd also love to see the heatmap for Gomes and Gueye because they were all over the place today covering for other players.

I thought Bournemouth's closing down and pressing was really good today. They have a great knack of knocking the ball and most of their passes reached their target.

I thought Everton were poor but some of that was down to the ref, he just nullified most of the game for us.

Happy with the win but not enthusiastic about the progress.

Poor performances have been the norm at Goodison recently, why should the ref be different. Still scratching my head how we won that; stoked that we did though!

I don’t know how we won that either. Bournemouth were the better more composed side.

.... The ball rebounded kindly into Andre Gomes' path in the first half from Brooks' shot that hit the post. We used up a lot of our luck with that one
