One of those ugly wins we needed. We have to improve, we need a striker and we need a midfield that can control and dictate a game. Our play is too rushed looking to get forward too quickly at times when a calmer approach is sometimes needed to keep the ball rather than a hopeful percentage pass.
We have some good players yet some not too good players but still feel the game plan is still beyond some of our players making it look a mess.

Gonna go for positives as it’s a much needed win and a clean sheet...a lot of negatives still but..we dug in we defended well from set pieces especially second half when they had like 50 corners,Ademola Lookman is a Special player,we looked to have Moyes esq fight about us today,and loved the passion at the end ,onwards and upwards toffees

I thought we were decent today after we woke up and got going. The last 15 minutes of the first half and the second half until Walcott came on was really solid stuff that we can build on. Actually more to work with here than after the Burnley game.

I'd also love to see the heatmap for Gomes and Gueye because they were all over the place today covering for other players.

One of the most dreadful refereeing performances I've seen.

Bookings handed out like confetti. Bournemouth response is non stop diving and play acting. Awful.

Poor performances have been the norm at Goodison recently, why should the ref be different. Still scratching my head how we won that; stoked that we did though!

Given that there was no retrospective action given against Salah for his dive the other week, then I’d say yes. Gomes will be punished.

Digne MOTM for me. Never stops working. Effort to get in cross to Zouma changed the match.
