Not necessarily a big number 9. Can be a more versatile forward. Signing someone who can get us double figure goals this year would be a big asset.

James will not play every game. He will occasionally play in the 3. We will get injuries, we will need to rotate come the heart of the winter. We need an option so may as well get a good one. I reckon players would like to come here right now. We can definitely challenge the top 6.

Yeah if we're going to be spending money I want somebody who can play across the front 3 and, is speedy and can score goals. Somebody like Lozano although I know it won't be him. I would have said Zaha but I don't want a ban.

Think him plus 2 more myself, but we may hold Godfrey back till later in the day as though we have been working on it all day if we sign no one else lol

Zaha would be very useful but he's just not worth the price Palace want for him. Been an absolute non starter all summer.

I think tomorrow will be very interesting. We have the chance to really kick on with a couple of shrewd additions. Very early in the season but it’s becoming obvious that our biggest threat is injuries. Get a couple of players that can fill in and were set. Couple of Alan Harpers will do!!

We really need a backup for DCL. If he gets injured or even if we want to sub him, who goes up top? Richarlison isn't ideal as a lone forward and then that means Iwobi or someone significantly worse than Rico takes his LW spot.

I suppose we could get an attacking winger and make do, but we need another player who can chip in with 5-10 goals over the season.

A 10 goal forward in this league will cost 30m, maybe more though. Id far rather see us spend the money than settle for a cheap loan. Milik sounds like a loan option but I'm not sure he'd be the answer.

Sincerely hope no one would spend £30m+ on someone to score 10 goals.

We need an option up front who can.play winger or striker. Not only if Rico or DCL get injured but also an option to come on in tight games who can nick.a goal when DCL and Rico arnt firing. Not sure if lozano can do that and Zaha is too much money. Getting swayed by the shouts for King now. Cheaper option and I wouldn't mind Brooks or the Brentford lad either at the right price

DCL doesn't miss many games to be fair, Don't remember the last time he was out for a lengthy time.

The more I think about think it will be Josh King. Can play off the right or central, has played in the league before and wouldn’t mind being a back up player.
