whats with all the hostility to FM?
I love the game, not going to lie some people take it too far but it really does let you get an insight into players around the world! plus if Everton are linked with someone and i havent heard of them or dont know too much about them its like a research tool.
Also its a good way to waste an entire day.

I loved it too, it broke my heart one too many times though, I'm like a scorned ex.

I'd trained Magaye Gueye up for 3 seasons, shadowing Louis Saha and Klose who I'd signed on a free, 4th season starts and Lille bid £12m for Magaye...Kenwright goes over my head and accepts the offer...it was the best Gueye ever became on any game and certainly in real life.

I'll never love again.

Once the first materialises people will know it's not all fluff like the summer we qualified for champs league and were signing Parker, etc,etc none of happened

The Parker deal shows how difficult it is to be an ITK like the Bellamy deal (later on) were all but done. Moyes was hurt over the Parker deal as they actually shook hands on a deal then Newcastle came in late offering more. Really believe the Parker deal affected how Moyes did transfers as he refused to ever fully commit to a transfer (which was a bad way to react just because he got his fingers burned). On a personal level the deal I was must disappointed at not going through was Moutinho. Suppose what saying is that a deal is never done till contract signed and paraded (unless your Unsworth)

Just putting it out there. But who do we think is conducting the negotiations with regard to our transfers? Obviously transfers are way more complicated then they used to be (agents, image right, sell on clauses etc.etc). I think this is one of the reasons we are looking to appoint a DOF, not only to identify possible targets, but to conclude the deals as well

This div. Probably why nobody is signing.

Just like the 'manager merry go round' I'm waiting for the major player one, it will come. I think the major one for us will be United and Pogba, they will need to free space which potentially means Mata, Blind and/or Schneiderlin. Though this might cause Juve (Pogba cash) to sniff around Lukaku

Usually like to peruse these threads- they make me laugh but....went to Spain last week, developed an allergy to suncream, was hospitalised, itchy, hot red rash, eyes swollen up. Look and feel like an angry hamster. So have we signed anybody good yet?

The antifume will begin!
see, THIS is the problem right here. Until SOMETHING happens every Evertonians natural pessimism is at work. I don't really see Witsel as that, I see someone like Mata being that statement.

There's natural Evertonian pessimism and then there's senseless head-falling-off which seems to have taken over.
