The game was designed to let you win everything you can do and dominate eventually with any team in the world and a ssuch is as un lifelike as you can imagine.

Unless you think that Estaban Diaz the manager of Sabaddell (me) was that good that he took a team from the spanish 3rd division with a part time team to win the CL, Spanish league and become the manager of Spain and his club side at the same time winning the world cup


As un lifelike as you can ever get, same with FIFA, games are meant for the lowest ability level to win

Not saying it's the bee all and end all, but if you read the article it says about 1500 scouts work for them, so it can have a use,

Possibly but the problem with this forum is that people seem to hug polar opposites of the spectrum; they either put too much faith into FM/FIFA or they completely laugh off anyone playing it or using it to discover players. Not sure why it's so hard for people to just compromise and agree it has it's uses.

I have never played either but i was once told by a cousin that the founder of one of them were Evertonians and had offered us first look on any potential stars it flagged up? Probably a load of cack, that was when we had Moyes with us!

The Collier brothers where and still are massive blues, the original creators of championship manager mate, its why they had a few giggles in the datatbases orignially like Gerrard being a favoured club Everton for example and some others thatb they buried in there as hidden eastereggs for Everton fans

Once the first materialises people will know it's not all fluff like the summer we qualified for champs league and were signing Parker, etc,etc none of which happened.

The antifume will begin!

whats with all the hostility to FM?
I love the game, not going to lie some people take it too far but it really does let you get an insight into players around the world! plus if Everton are linked with someone and i havent heard of them or dont know too much about them its like a research tool.
Also its a good way to waste an entire day.
 
Would be good if we done all our business minus sales all over a short period of time and had a lot of pre season to integrate them together.
