Thats all conjecture isnt it though?

£20-25mil and a top keeper for 15 years. We paid more for lukaku and the position is just as important + has an extra 5 years more value....

Fine if we could get an equally as good keeper at the same price but paying £10mil (for example) for a 30 year old is worse than paying up to £30

Hold on a minute. You're picking someone up on conjecture?!?!???

Fine if we could get an equally as good keeper at the same price but paying £10mil (for example) for a 30 year old is worse than paying up to £30mil for butland due to the 15 odd years we would have with him and his value to the team being an England international.

we have several england players and that adds to the attraction for players as well as the manager....

other than UTD if de gea moves im not sure theres a better move for him....unless he stays at stoke in mid table.

Liverpool?
stay at Stoke?

This.

Wish people would stop even mentioning it.

Yes Everton are a bigger club, but at the moment it would be a sideward step for him.

With that logic Stones possible move to Chelsea would be step downwards. Butland isnt moving cause his contract situation and because he's been boss and Stoke can ask anything they want.

We will not buy a starting keeper in January - 100%, save all the speculation on that for January really. Only one who is good enough and is/was available is Boyko but right now his agents are talking to Sevilla after the Beskitas move collapsed so say Hi to Tim Howard for another 4 months.

As for Butland - well that's about as likely as us selling Stones to Spurs

Martinez on Mirallas' future
Roberto admits Everton’s squad is “too large”, but says there’s nothing to say right now.

'What we have seen with Kevin is that he’s signed a new contract, had a good pre-season but we have really good attacking options. But the way he has been working in the last few weeks, I expect Kevin to have a major, major influence in the second half of the season.”

But a lot of them are fillers and are about to retire.

Could be talking about Naismith rather than Mirallas though.

Also this would suggest he is staying too.

He might if he ever picks a left sided player for the left side
