Again it's a case of every keeper is better than Howard until one is named , then he's rubbish.

I've yet to hear of one keeper who is better than Tim who is actually getable this window.

Ospina and Butland MAY be better but they are going nowhere. Valdes has been told he can only move outside the PL. Mannone?? he can barely get a game for Sunderland and they are terrible.

Where are all these keepers we should be signing? Somebody name them.

Totally agree, Martinez has got to spend big to get a class keeper, Ospina I believe is a great option. We won't get Butland, he has been linked with Liverpool so his stock is rising. Marshall, is he worth 10 million, isn't that just three places higher in the league and he would have paid for himself.

Hennessy is having a good season, but his previous have been average

Mignolet, if Butland goes there, he is a better keeper than Howard, you don't become Shyte overnight.

There are loads of "gettable" keepers out there for the right price. Ive listed down probably 8 in this thread before...even Handanovic is on a free in the summer...theres loads.

Diego Lopez would be an improvement on Howard, certainly. But I can't see us getting a 'keeper this window.

If Naismith and Mirallas go, which is looking a possibility, we need to go for Yarmolenko.

Horn is the only one that I like the look of, but then again nobody posts compilations of individual Keeper's cock-ups on Youtube so it's hard to tell.

I bet Tim's 'Awesome saves' compilation is better than most.

Reading that we are very interested in Ian Marshall from Cardiff as the replacement for Howard, but at 30 is he really a long term fix?

I know keepers play longer but starting with us at 30 and finishing at 35 would give us 5 years for a hefty fee of what may be 10 mill to a keeper that was relegated?

Someone posted that the ukrainian keeper boyko was off to sevilla. Their keeper, sergio rico is class and i guess would be available if they got boyko.

Also karius and a couple of other germans if the price is right. Theres a few good keepers out there.

this season we make £50mil ish in additional revenues compared to last season + players will be sold and also a few out of contract so there will be money there.

i think we need 3 first team players and 4 squad players...spending £20-25mil for Butland would be my preference as the major signing and could make that money back easy in league position.
