Weve been playing this well since last January. Keep the faith

Jesus just lets see how we are playing in 2-3 months not 1 game, If we seen this **** on RAWK we would have threads about it taking the piss

Watch this place go into meltdown if we get beat on the weekend

MOYES OUT

I dont think anyone here is claiming that our first 11 rivals the great Ajax side of the 70's but the midfield is pretty fluid, especially with the way Baines joins them. Or we could be a miserable **** and point out that its not technically total football as Distin wasnt doing backheeled throughballs while Hibbert marauded down the left wing doing Cryuff turns.

If I could, I'd +rep you for the imagery of that alone. Nice!

We went to Villa about 6 years ago and showed them up good style, Osman, Arteta & Cahill combined to just stroll past them at will. We saw champagne football vs Larissa. Again, interchange, neat passing and superb finish.

We dont care what the red side say
what the heck do we care....

Oh, and if anyone can name a current prem side with the versatility in its first eleven that is comparable let alone better than ours... then be my guest.....

What is up with my rep? Was I mean to someone?

Mine is worth -14k, so it appears a significant percentage have sharpened their axes. Just keep posting, that way the attitude that kipper has of chasing newcomers away wont be allowed to infest this place.

On a lighter note, lets be glad Moyes has assembled his strongest squad and that when injuries and suspensions do hit that we have the versatility in the ranks to cover the temporary losses.

Pienaar
Osman
Fellaini
Naismith
Mirallas

Is it me or just from our midfield options do we have a great deal of versatility? The point being the interchangability specifically going forward that could have us run markers in zigzags trying to keep up with a move. Some of the one touch stuff last night was joyous, and the unusual overlapping runs that put wide players central and vice versa allowed space to be made to be exploited at will. On top of which the attacking intent of Baines and Coleman when introduced provided even more options that left Man U struggling to keep up. We showed pace and a willingness to work the ball forward (usually on the deck) that had their back line in knots.

I'm calling it now, at least 30 league goals from midfield this season.

Jesus Christ. One game we have played, talk about over reacting.

Naismith, arrives on the back of very serious injury, playing in one of the most physically demanding leagues in the world ( see Bily for comparison )

Osman has never contributed A LOT of goals, although he should, this is down partly to being played out of position to accommodate (previously Cahill, which should now change)

Pienaar should, and will contribute goals.

Fellaini as Pienaar will shoulder the burden that st with Arteta as the new talisman, a player who can pass, score and what Mikel lacked, tackle.

Miralles - ill reserve judgment on him, loads of lids here wetting their knickers over him, I'll wait and digest his performances.

You missed Gibbo off, who will be our "water carrier" as people have already spotted, he will allow Fellaini to roam an create plenty of chances, not sure about "30 goals" though mate..

People get chased off this site? By who? This place always had the feeling of a cyber version of St Lukes church before the game and the wsag/blaukopf forum had the feeling of the Red Brick

Buddha, Allah, and Rah. We were knocking spots off the league from January onwards. We have improved significantly since.
Naismith did have a big injury, but he passed a medical - unlike Forsell, Jags made it back from Cruciate IIRC. And Bily is no comparison as he was as wet as a wet thing that had just been drowned then rained on.
Last season we scored 50 league goals. I expect more this term. How many actual strikers do we have besides Jela? Hence 30+ from midfield. Even discounting Baines with a few and a header a piece from the CB's.
I missed Gibson off because he is our Carsley, and thats it. The others I mentioned have and will play in a variety of positions, hence the 'total football' ideal I have associated with them and set a case out for.

Have you just actually said who is Oscar & a "nope" next to Yaya Toure? As in African player of the year 2011 and PFA team of the year? And ex Barca? ( 6 trophies in 2010 season..)
