English football had the worst reputation in Europe mate. Maybe you are too young but if hooliganism (and racism) wasn’t rampant in English football there wouldn’t have been a league-wide ban. Leeds and Man Utd were banned individually for rioting in the 1970s before it took off across the board in the 1980s. Everton had the most notorious hooligan firm in the north of England (county road cutters). And for racism at Everton, ask Les Ferdinand.
Everton never had a gang called the county road cutters at the time.
Before the book came out it was never mentioned,
Everton didnt have a hooligan firm with any name at all in the 70,s or 80s. Plenty of hooligans but no name
You cant be notorious if you dont exist.
The only county road cutters around that time was a hairdresser's on county road opposite Hale rd that had it written on the side of the Building.
Have you ever met anybody saying they were in it in real life?.
This is by far the biggest Everton site , I cant think of any former members .
True there was a lot of racist incidents but it wasnt just Everton that had that most did at the time including Liverpool , (John Barnes had it prior to signing for Liverpool),Man Unt, leeds ,west ham , even city and villa , brum all had large NF support in the seventies ,something we never had .
