To be fair, I think Team Pereira was mostly tongue in cheek and was a bunch of us trying to have fun in a particularly worrying transitional period that we were in.

I know what you're saying but, let's be honest, on the same website the majority would've chosen cheese on toast as our next manager if it was an option.

I was one of the ones going on about Pereira and I think it was mostly because I was nervous about life after Moyes. How wrong I was!

To be fair though, most fans only really ever see what happens on the pitch. The way a manager works behind the scenes is often hidden away, making it very hard to judge how effective they are.

Excellent. Really enjoyed listening to it. A good insight what goes on during the transfer window, and how players minds are not on the game.
