.....interesting that Stubbs and Unsworth are seen as inseperable at FF. When asked, they said they were very ambitious to progress and I took this to mean as a management team. I can see Stubbs applying for Managers jobs elsewhere and taking Unsworth as his assistant if he gets a position.

I don't want to go all RAWK but I can't think of anyone I'd rather lead us into battle than Martinez. He gives you bravery for the soul... it's hard to explain, but he makes you believe anything is possible. And making people believe that is something he thrives on. He loves it. He's not afraid of it.

It's early days but he has all the makings of a legend. I am so happy we got him, he was always my first choice - I loved what he did, how he operated and how he conducted himself at Wigan - but he has exceeded even my expectations. He's magic.

It could of gone so wrong in the summer. But we got the right one. Convinced of it.
