Nope.

Theres a reason that we move late.

Teams are more willing to get "certain" players off the wage bill, teams realise that the 1m extra they were holding out for isnt gonna come and lets not forget about the months wage we save, on somebody on 50k a week, thats around 200k, which for a trampy team like us, is a lot of moneys.

Moyes moves early when the deal is sweet, like Jelavic and Gibson last Year.

But given the little money he has, he mostly has to operate at the later end of the window.

Not sure why people are getting peed.

If the windows closes and we havent "improved" the squad size at least, well, I may panic, but this aint my first window yo, still 11 lovely days left.

Chill.

wasn't jelavic introduced to the crowd as a new signing in the home game against man city on 31st Jan ?

Not trying to be funny at all mate. You said I was chatting bubbles about Osman being one of the best if not the best player in a blue shirt this season which the majority seem to agree with.

Meh fair nuff, like I said before I agree that he's been good for us this season very good in fact but I just don't think he has been the best. I also think its a shame he's been wasted on the right all these years.

Osman has not been the best player in a blue shirt this season, He's been a good player MOST of the time, But he is still inconsistant, He has his faults but they haven't been as bad this season, And he's doing good.

The lad has got a attitude issue, which could create a lot of discourse at the training ground if Moyes starts to lean into him a bit. (See - Andy van der Meyde)

No doubting his quality, but I want us to keep that 'togetherness' which has taken this club to new heights.

you watch Spurs snap him up I hate that b*****d club with a passion always stealing other teams targets my hatred of them is part jealousy would love their squad depth and management/revenue at the club.

This. They buy players they don't really need just because they are there. Look at their central midfield ffs. But on the other hand oh how I wish we could do that.

Yep they buy this and that... but then um... we compete with them most every year on a button and IP
They can snatch any deal they want but when it comes to on the field...I could care less about the Spurs. We challenge them each game. Every game.

Those saying "why are we trying to loan him" etc... Let's think about it logically; you'd have to pretty stupid or outright desperate to spend actual cash for him without looking at him first.

The perfect point of comparison is Drenthe and Van Der Meyde. The last thing we need is a complete loon tied down to a four year contract.

QPR are prepared to take the risk; we're in a position where we don't have to.

If the lad is serious about his career and we're in for him, he'll join us. If he's a tool and following the quick buck, he'll choose QPR.

Either way, I'll either be happy to have him here or delighted we missed out on him, depending on his choice. For that reason, I'm not fussed whether this is true or not. If it is great, if it isn't, great.

My opinion on this hasn't shifted from the above one bit.

I'm not understanding why people are gutted about this. We'd be mind-numbingly stupid to throw a sizeable transfer fee on what looks nailed down to be the next Drenthe.
