Everton want nzonzi , nzonzi isn't playing and will be sold, the player wants a move to everton and tells another club he fancies a move to us so the other club look to look at other targets ,Blackburn buy Rhodes so need money through the door so everton leak at story they have other targets meaning "if you don't sell we'll move on to are other targets" . It's basically brinksmanship , it's us saying you need to sell more than we need to buy , it's where the agents (3rd party and otherwise) earn their fees.
