Deleted your post there I see mate? Any reason for that?

It's ok though, thankfully it was quoted so everyone can still see you're a bigot.

That figure is pretty misleading, surely? There's not going to be that many gay footballers though, is there?

In the same way that there are probably a considerably higher percentage of gay dancers than there are gay bricklayers.

Fashanu argued it would be higher than other professions, because it's a male dominated atmosphere thing that he reckoned would attract homosexuals.

Yeah probably.

Sexuality is just water anyway. It sloshes around and changes shape and people think it's really important - but when you think about it, tea is way better.

Nothing against gays or anything but whats the point in this?

Why the desperation to get footballers to come out as gay?

Why is anyone arsed?

If they dont want to come out thats fine if there even is any gays playing. Footy is a macho sport and its not likely gay men would be wanting to play anyway - certainly non of the gays in work (and theres ****ing loads of them) like footy or even wanna talk about it.

Not something that needs to be campaigned about to be honest.

*sigh*

It's statements like that which show why there's so much progress to be made.

Do you reckon that on figure skating forums they're having the debate about how the crowd would treat the first openly straight figure skater?
