Calvert Lewin can't be relied on for fitness. So leaving the club in a situation where it could be just maupay playing as the striker this season with rondon as back up is very risky

A bit frustrating as we always seem to hear the same things. Pedro bid failed, ChuckPolumbo, nobody has mentioned anything, NateDiaz they want 20m. It is mad. I’m happy with Maupay at least we have one forward for now, Everton luck he does his hammy in the derby.

It's been an excellent summer bar the loss of Richarlison (inevitable).

Solid signings, retained Gordon (and DCL, probably down to injury), brought in solid defenders. Only 4-5 of last seasons Benitez team starting (Gray, Gordon, Pickford, Iwobi, DCL)

Nothing wrong with Onana, Gueye and the new defenders, Everyone happy with Patterson, Myko, Holgate improved. Very little outlay in monetary terms and some good accounting profit on Richo.

Lots of wages saved with Tosun, Delph, Sigurdsson gone, Gomes likely to go, Gbamin, Alli and Kean not around. Several younger players getting experience.

There's cohesion in the side now - no wasters. All pulling together.
