I agree mate, I fully expect both Gbanim and Gomes to be moved on (sale if we can loan otherwise) also think Allan will be going too, think soon as Gueye signs we'll green light a move for him.

Iwobi I think is guaranteed to stay and agree as he's a good option and can cover 2-3 positions too. Davies may be shifted if there's any interest if we do bring in all three.

Dacoure pretty certain he's staying but if someone put an offer in think we'd listen to it maybe
Wish I had your confidence mate I can’t see us selling any of them

Dont think Chelsea are looking to sell Gilmour thoigh, just loan deals isnt it.
My thought process is that we have heard off Chelsea that Broja is maybe only available for a loan.

So before this we may of been keeping money to one side for Broja (30-40m) and would go for Gilmour on loan.

Something has happened re:Chelsea which (either they don't want to sell Broja permanently, or Gilmour isn't available).

So we could be using the Broja money for Onana & then just loaning Broja?

Fortunately Alan Myers doesn't get it right very often.

Not keen on Cody, always thought he was a bit overrated as a CB but he does appear to be a good captain and leader. Not overly keen on the ex RS element either but hey, Peter Reid.

But the main reason I'm not in favour is we obviously have limited funds and the position he plays is not a priority in comparison to other positions. And he won't come cheap. He is the Wolves captain, has 3 years left on his contract and is part of the current England squad.

Hopefully this is just paper talk. Doesn't make sense to me.
Saw a report saying he could be allowed to go on loan, so maybe it's not a permanent deal?

I get the feeling lampard thinks we lack leaders in the squad (we obviously do).

Would take him on loan if it meant selling Keane and/or holgate.

If there's anything in the Coady rumour (and it's difficult to believe, personally), it's essentially your confirmation that we will be playing with a back three next season - Coady cannot play in any in a back 4. He's exclusively someone who plays in the middle of a back three and his speciality is pinging passes about.

Don't want Coady at all TBH - he's slow, not good in the air at all and completely limits your tactical approach. Add that to the fact he's 29 and the biggest kopite you could wish to meet. I'd understand why Lampard would fancy him if he wants to play a 343, but having Tarkowski (good player but lacking pace on the turn a little bit) and Coady in the same team is asking for trouble IMO

Also, worth reading...

In a way to help P&S we don't need to sell mate, loan fees go straight into the profit column and % wages all go into reducing the % wages/income number.

So in essence say we receive three lots if 1.5-2m in fees and 50% wages paid. We'd reduce our wages by around 7m+ this season and recurve around 5.5m in loan fees which would for example psy for another McNeil deal with 1.5m left over on the P&S figures for the season
